Galaxy S23 Ultra is expected to get another big camera update

which would address one of the most annoying camera issues that

Trouble has plagued this otherwise excellent shooter from the start.

Industry insider @UniverseIce revealed that Samsung

Eventually the HDR effect will get rid of the artifacts

You can see those lines around each flower in an obviously poor attempt at HDR. can clearly see the halo,

And we've seen this kind of problem quite often on photos coming out of the Galaxy S23.

Just as a reminder, the Galaxy S23 series received a major camera update back in April.

So it is likely that this next firmware update will not be coming very soon.
